RETREAT TERMS
All prices are listed in US Dollars.
All single, double, and triple occupancy prices/bookings are per person.
Booking options do not include airfare, ground transportation, travel insurance, visa fees, additional add-ons, etc.
Retreat spots are reserved once the Retreat Registration form is completed and the non-refundable $500 deposit per person is submitted.
PAYMENT TERMS
Deposit: Reserve your spot with a non-refundable deposit of $500 (per person).
Payments
Payments can be made by Venmo: @AshleyDongCurran
Other forms of payment include Zelle and check.
Full payment is due 90 days before the retreat start date.
Payments can be made in as many installments as needed, so long as the full payment is completed 90 days before the retreat start date.
If full payment is not received 90 days prior to the event’s start date, I reserve the right to cancel your reservation, fill your spot, and refund you any payments made (minus the non-refundable deposit). An email reminder will be sent at least 5 days prior to the deadline to complete the final payment.
Transferable
You can transfer your retreat booking to another student up to 14 days before the event’s start date. No transfers will be accepted within 14 days of the start date.
If you need to transfer your spot to someone else, it will be self-managed, and payments will be exchanged on your own terms.
The person accepting the transfer must fill out the Retreat Registration form.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If YOU Cancel: If you need to cancel your retreat booking, you must notify me by emailing ashleycurranyoga@gmail.com. Your cancellation fee will be determined according to the terms outlined below. Exceptions to the cancellation policy cannot be made for ANY reason including (but not limited to): weather, health changes, personal emergencies, natural disasters, travel restrictions, etc. There is no discount/refund for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays or illness.
If cancellation takes place more than 90 days prior to the event’s start date, any payments made will be refunded minus the non-refundable deposit.
If cancellation takes place between 60-90 days prior to the event’s start date, 50% of the trip price will be forfeited minus the non-refundable deposit.
If cancellation takes place less than 60 days prior to the event’s start date, 100% of the trip price will be forfeited.
If the RETREAT ORGANIZER Changes/Cancels: The Host reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary; including, but not limited to: advertised excursions, arranged transportation, advertised meals, etc. In the rare case of a Retreat cancellation, The Host will offer a transfer to another retreat (if possible) or a full refund of your payment. The Host is not responsible for any expenses or damages incurred as a result of retreat cancellation including preparation costs, airline tickets, travel documents or other expenses. The Host reserves the right to cancel any retreat prior to departure in the event that there are too few people booked, in which case you will be given a full refund of any and all payments made to The Host. You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek any compensation for any injury, loss, expenses or damages (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation (including but not limited to visa, passport and vaccination charges, or departure, gear purchases, airport and airline taxes).
TRIP INSURANCE & DOCUMENTS
Trip Insurance: Guests are highly encouraged to purchase individual trip insurance for international retreats. It is the guest’s responsibility to choose the appropriate trip insurance.
The Host will not be held responsible for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience that may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control (examples, but not limited to late arrival/departure of flights, fire, flood, severe weather, or cancellations for any reason). No refunds will be given for “no shows” or days not used as a result from the events previously mentioned.
Travel Documents & Immunizations: It is the responsibility of each traveler to obtain all required travel documents including Visas and health immunizations. Contact your nearest travel clinic for the latest requirements.
ROOMMATE ASSIGNMENTS
Retreat rates are per person. Double, triple or otherwise advertised shared rooms require shared occupancy for the specified room rate. If requesting a shared occupancy room, you must have a friend to share with, we do not pair travelers together.
MEDIA
Permission for Capture and Use: Media is defined as photography, video, written or verbal testimonial, or any other form of capturing likeness. For valuable consideration received, I grant to The Host the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission concerning any captured media that she/he has taken or may take of me or in which I may be included with others, to use, reuse, publish, and republish in whole or in part, individually or in connection with other material, in any and all publishing platforms now or hereafter known, including the Internet, and for any purpose whatsoever, specifically including illustration, promotion, art, editorial, advertising, and trade, without restriction as to alteration; and to use my name in connection with any use if she/he so chooses. I release and discharge The Host from any and all claims and demands that may arise out of or in connection with the use of the media, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or violation of any right of publicity or privacy. This authorization and release shall also inure to the benefit of the heirs, legal representatives, licensees, and assigns of Photographer, Videographer, Interviewer, Editor, as well as the person(s) for whom he/she captured the media. This release shall be binding upon me and my heirs, legal representatives, and assigns.
WAIVER
Release and Waiver of Liability: I hereby agree that I, my assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians, and legal representatives will not make a claim against, sue or attach the property of The Host, their affiliates, teachers, employees, agents or volunteers or any of their affiliated organizations for injury or damage resulting from acts, howsoever caused, by any employee, agent, or contractor, or any of their affiliated organizations, as a result of my participation in The Host’s retreats. I hereby release The Host, and any of their agents or affiliated organizations from all actions, claims or demands that I, my assigns, heirs, distributees, guardians, and legal representatives now have or may hereafter have for injury, damage, or death resulting from my participation in The Host’s retreats.
I am medically, physically, emotionally and in all respects fit and able to participate in The Host’s retreats.
I agree I will be fully and financially responsible for my own physical condition and well-being during the retreat and will follow the safety precautions and instructions prescribed by The Host.
I acknowledge that The Host may make suggestions from time to time that are intended to help me and my well-being. However I take ultimate responsibility for my choices and realize that The Host is not licensed medical provider and that I must consult my doctor.
If I experience pain or discomfort during the retreat, I will modify The Host’s instruction to suit my individual needs. I will not hold The Host responsible for any pain or discomfort I experience during or after the retreat. I understand that the activities offered on this retreat are not a substitute for medical care. I understand that The Host is not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat physical or mental illness.
By agreeing to the terms outlined here and elsewhere on the The Host’s website I hereby release and discharge my rights and claims for damages or liabilities that may occur as a result of participation on a The Host’s retreat.
